View of This article analyzes the professional trajectories of female educators at Jardim Beija-Flor Municipal School in Luzinópolis (TO). The objective was to investigate life histories, teaching career choices, and professional challenges. Oral History and interviews with five teachers were used. The results reveal that entering the career was not an initial choice but the only training and work opportunity in the local context. The narratives highlight difficulties such as low family involvement and student disinterest, factors that impact teaching and learning. The study emphasizes the importance of memory and female trajectories in regional education.
