Abstract

The proposal of the text is to make a discussion about the coofficialization of languages of native peoples in relation to the Portuguese Language in Brazil. The issue of coofficialization is inscribed not only in resistance, but above all in the claim for recognition that official monolingualism not only silences other languages and peoples, but makes them foreigners in their lands, forces them to be foreigners, also in the language of others, to live in the address of the other, to live in the language of others.

Author Biography

  • Marlon Leal Rodrigues, Universidade Estadual do Mato Grosso do Sul

    Graduou-se em Letras (Língua Portuguesa e Literaturas) pela FERP-VR/RJ (1993), hoje UGD-VR ? Universidade Geraldi Di Biasi de Volta Redonda-RJ. Concluiu o Mestrado em Letras (Estudos Linguísticos, Análise do Discurso, AD) pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (2001), Campus de Três Lagoas, doutorado em Linguística pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2006) e fez supervisão de pós-doutoramento (2008) na mesma universidade. Atualmente é professor adjunto da Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso do Sul, Unidade Universitária de Campo Grande, professor efetivo dos Cursos de Letras (licenciaturas e bacharelado), Pedagogia, Administração Pública, e também atua no Programa de Mestrado Acadêmico em Letras e no Mestrado Profissional em Letras, ambos da UEMS de Campo Grande. Tem experiência na área de Linguística com ênfase em Análise do Discurso Franco/Brasileira. É membro do NEAD ? Núcleo de Estudos em Análise do Discurso (UEMS). Desenvolve e orienta pesquisas com temáticas relacionadas ao cotidiano, sujeito, à identidade e à história. Coordenador do Mestrado Profissional em Letras (04/2023) - UEMS - Campo Grande-MS.
