Mídia, Preconceito e Adoecimento Mental: Contribuições da Hermenêutica Gadameriana - Um Ensaio à partir da obra ‘'Verdade e Método’' de Hans-Georg Gadamer

Dentre os pressupostos que impulsionam a formação de estigmas e de preconceitos frente ao adoecimento mental, as informações propagadas pelos meios de comunicação (ou a ausência delas) parecem emergir com relevante proeminência. Propõe-se aqui, um ensaio de discussão teórica cujo objetivo é o de fazer uma aproximação entre os campos da saúde mental e da comunicação. Para tal, intenta-se ao desenvolvimento de uma discussão sobre o tema da influência das coberturas midiáticas diante da construção de atitudes de estigmatização e de falsos preconceitos frente ao tema do adoecimento mental. A perspectiva pela qual vislumbrar-se-á o fenômeno em análise, será baseada na Hermenêutica Filosófica de Hans-Georg Gadamer, em particular na sua obra Verdade e Método (1997/1960).
