It is intended to develop the idea of populism for Pierre Rosanvallon. He defines populism as impolitical or anti-political: absolute counter-democracy. The concepts are used to analyze populism as a distillation of counter-democracy, producing a better image of the term and vision of populism as a form of political expression in which the democratic project is completely taken over by an extreme form of anti-politics. Deepening the question of populism leads to a better understanding of democracy, its risks of deviation, confiscation, ambiguities and incompleteness.
