Pedagogy in non-school environments: A look from teaching and student experiences in Pedagogy training.

Abstract: This is a reflection based on perspectives on the training offered in Pedagogy on the theme: Pedagogy in non-school environments. We are talking about a Pedagogy course at a Public University in the state of Mato Grosso-MT. The main objective is to present the teaching experience developed over 15 years, based on the inclusion of this area of knowledge in Pedagogy training, taking as a reference the CNE resolution May 1, 2006. As a data collection method, search the PPC of the course all references to the subject in question, as well as using what we experienced in the internships, together with the Pedagogy students throughout this period. Our main theoretical contributions are Gohn, Torres and Severo. As results, we present the experiences obtained, mainly in religious institutions, civil public institutions in the area of social assistance and small experiments carried out in small businesses, in addition to institutions that support minor offenders or those dependent on some type of addiction. In all situations, we see the role of the pedagogue as an organizer of the educational planning that takes place in these institutions or as someone who monitors and assists in this work.Keywords: Education, Educator training, Pedagogy, Non-school spaces.
